About Kevin

Filmmaker, broadcaster, and speaker Kevin Dunn has spent more than four decades telling stories that inspire hope.

A recent Cannes World Film Festival award winner and three-time Gemini Award nominee (Canada's equivalent of the Emmy Awards), Kevin has produced and/or hosted more than 1,000 hours of television and documentary programming spanning history, science, variety, culture, social justice, faith, children’s TV and family. His work has been broadcast internationally on Discovery Channel, History Channel UK, ARTE France & Germany, CBC, CTV, Global TV, EWTN, and Salt + Light TV.

Over the past twenty years, Kevin has dedicated his work to exploring faith, the dignity of the human person, and the power of authentic relationships to transform lives. His award-winning documentaries and multimedia presentations have taken him around the world, where he has interviewed thousands of people whose stories of courage, suffering, reconciliation, and hope continue to shape both his films and his message.

Whether speaking in a parish, school, conference, or community gathering, Kevin combines compelling storytelling, documentary film clips, humour, music, and practical encouragement to leave audiences informed, inspired, and equipped to become Prophets of Hope in their own families and communities.

Away from the camera, Kevin is a devoted husband, father of six, and proud grandfather. He still enjoys picking up his guitar whenever he gets the chance—a reminder that joy and faith are meant to be lived, not merely spoken about.
